Hello, my name is Paul LaRue. Over the past ten years, I have taught a wide variety of computer science classes in several public schools across the great state of Massachusetts. I have begun work on this website in order to showcase at least some small sample of my students' work, both past and present. It is also my intention to share with you some of what I know, and some of what I know how to do. Additionally, techniques, resources and best practices that are and have been used in my classes are also going to be demonstrated here. To this end, the site includes many "step by step" instructions for accomplishing worthwhile goals, as well as a number of "How To" videos. All you have to do is to click on any of the buttons below to explore the site.

In his last movie appearance, the great actor Charlie Chaplin observed "We're all amateurs; we don't live long enough to become professionals". In this sense, both this website and my abilities could be considered, well, amateur. Eleven years of effort? I'm just getting started ☺

PS -- In case anyone is wondering, I have designed, built, coded and published every last bit of this entire website. Please bear that in mind in case you need someone to build or maintain a website, or to teach a course in website design.         Just throwing it out there.

UPDATE: Uncle Paulie has FINALLY made good his escape from the land of ice and snow...I love you, New England, but I'm off to sunnier climes.
